We save the email and quote data you provide when you unlock a report. We do not give it to an installer unless you separately and explicitly request one introduction.
What we collect
When you unlock a decision pack, we store your email, the calculator inputs, the resulting verdict and whether you separately opted into occasional updates. If you ask for an installer introduction, we also collect your name, mobile number and intended buying timeframe.
How we use it
Battery Quote X-Ray uses report data to provide the requested report, understand whether the tool is useful, improve quote benchmarks and respond to requests. Any benchmarking or published market analysis uses aggregated or de-identified information.
We use Google Analytics to record aggregate page usage and conversion events. First-party analytics storage may be used to distinguish visits, while advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google signals remain disabled. Google Analytics does not receive the quote form fields, email, name or phone number.
Installer introductions
Australian quote-help requests collect your name, email, phone, postcode, solar status, property decision-making role, buying timeframe and whether you already have a quote. We also store the submitting page and referring website hostname, if available. We use these to review and respond to your request, not to subscribe you to marketing.
Installer coverage is being established and a match is not guaranteed. The Australian availability-check form authorises contact by Battery Quote X-Ray only. Before sharing with an installer, we will name that installer and ask for separate permission. We may receive a fee for an introduction you approve. A fee never changes your result or warnings.
Marketing and your choices
Unlocking a report does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Marketing requires its own optional selection. You can withdraw marketing permission or ask us to stop facilitating direct marketing at any time.
How long we keep information
Report and lead records are retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, then deleted or de-identified unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Privacy requests are retained for up to 24 months as an audit record.
Access, correction, deletion and questions
Use this secure form to access or correct your information, request deletion, withdraw marketing permission or ask a privacy question. We verify identity through the email connected with the record before releasing or changing personal information.
